Thank you for choosing CooktopSafety.com. We are committed to delivering our life-safety technology to your home as quickly and securely as possible.

1. Shipment Processing Time (Handling)

All orders are processed within 5-7– business days.

  • Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST will begin processing the same day.
  • Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or major U.S. holidays.
  • If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by an additional 5–30 days. We will notify you via email if a significant delay is expected.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates (Transit)

We ship via major U.S. carriers (UPS, FedEx, and USPS). Shipping charges and estimated delivery dates are calculated and displayed at checkout.

3. Shipping Coverage

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states and U.S. Territories. We also ship to Canada.

  • P.O. Boxes: While we can ship smaller accessories to P.O. Boxes via USPS, our primary smart sensor systems require a physical street address for UPS/FedEx delivery.
  • International: At this time, we only fulfill orders within the United States from our Massachusetts hub.

4. Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. Tracking information usually becomes active within 24 hours.

5. Limitation of Liability (Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Goods)

CooktopSafety.com takes extreme care in packaging your safety equipment. However, once the package is handed to the carrier, the following terms apply:

  • Transfer of Risk: Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
  • Damaged in Transit: If your package arrives with visible damage, please document it with photos and contact us at info@cooktopsafety.com within 48 hours. We will assist you in filing a carrier claim.
  • Stolen/Missing Packages: We are not responsible for packages stolen after a confirmed "Delivered" status by the carrier. We highly recommend shipping to a secure location or utilizing carrier "Hold for Pickup" services if you are concerned about "porch piracy."

6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

CooktopSafety.com is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). We are also not responsible for delays due to customs.
