The CTS Power Cutoff does not work on its own. It is an add-on that requires a CTS Smart Kitchen Sensor. Choose this only if you already own a CTS sensor and want to add automatic stove shut-off.

The CTS Power Cutoff is the part that physically shuts the stove off. Installed between your stove and its 240V outlet, it lets the sensor cut power to the stove on its own before a fire can start, and keeps it off until someone presses the button on the sensor.

Compatibility: matches your stove's 3-prong or 4-prong 240V outlet. Not compatible with gas ranges.

What you unlock with the Power Cutoff

On its own, the sensor watches and warns. Add the CTS Power Cutoff and it can actually shut the stove off.

Automatic stove shut-off

If an alert goes unanswered, the Power Cutoff cuts power to the stove on its own, before a fire can start.

It stays off until you say so

Power comes back only when someone presses the button on the sensor, so the stove never turns itself back on.

Remote shut-off and lock

With CTS Essentials Plus, turn the stove off and lock it from the CTS Mobile App, from anywhere.

Scheduled lock

With CTS Essentials Plus, set the hours the stove stays locked, and it unlocks automatically when it is time to cook.
